Rope Sizers
The rope sizer defines the diameter of the final product by reducing and calibrating the rope of hard-boiled mass (candy or lollipop), chewy candy, or gum coming from the batch roller or extruder before it enters the forming machine or cut & wrap machine.
This guarantees precision in forming and ensures the rope is fed at a constant and synchronized speed.

Synchronization between the forming or cutting machine and rope sizer is achieved through a laser sensor plate positioned between the two.
The number of sizing stages depends on the required product diameter: the smaller the product, the more stages are needed.
The machine can be configured in either a vertical or horizontal layout, depending on customer preference.
However, the vertical version is recommended for easier cleaning: thanks to a dedicated collector, removing and cleaning the rollers is significantly quicker compared to the horizontal design.
