S37 Center – Drop roller line for chewy candy
The S37 Center line has been developed to form chewy candies core which will subsequently be coated. Being the core of the forming done with the drop roller technology, the focus of this line is to reduce scraps, ensure consistent product quality, and easy maintenance.
Perfectly suited for products coated in sugar or chocolate, this line is available in three models to match your production needs:
- 300 kg/h for small batches
- 600 kg/h for mid-sized operations

Extrusion
This first stage of the process involved our extruders with the purpose of ensuring stable temperature and continuous output.
Sizing and Forming
The modular drop roller machine, depending on the production needs, is provided with a couple of rollers that create a first sheet of chewy mass.
The latest modules of the drop roller machine are pre-forming the final product shape. Now, a sheet of chewy candies is made ready to be broken into candy pieces.
The forming modules are designed for a fast shape change in less than 5 minutes.
Cooling and Breaking
At this stage, our cooling tunnels ensure highly efficient temperature control, enabling a seamless transfer of product sheets from the forming machine to the scrap drum separator.
Most tunnel components are fully removable, making cleaning and inspection easy while maintaining the highest hygiene standards across the production line. A dedicated discharge belt conveys the cooled product sheets to the scraps drum separator, which breaks them into individual pieces.
From there, the candies are ready to be sent either to a dedicated cooling room or coating pans, depending on the specific production flow.
