S37 – Drop roller line for hard candy
The S37 line has been developed to form coated hard candies. Being the core of the forming done with the drop roller technology, the focus of this line is to reduce scraps, ensure consistent product quality, and ensure easy maintenance.
The line also has full adaptability to any type of cooking system. Perfectly suited for products coated in sugar or chocolate, this line is available in three models to match your production needs:
- 300 kg/h for small batches;
- 600 kg/h for mid-sized operations.

Batching
This first stage of the process involves our latest generation batch roller.
The purpose of the batch roller is to homogenize the sugar mass and bring it to the correct working temperature.
Sizing and Forming
The modular drop roller machine, depending on the production needs, is provided with pre-sizing cylinders that create a first sheet of hard boiled mass.
The latest modules of the drop roller machine are drop roller forming rollers that pre-form the product.
At this point, a sheet of hard candies is made ready to be broken into candy pieces after the cooling stage.
The forming modules are designed for a fast shape change in less than 5 minutes.
Cooling and Breaking
At this stage, our cooling tunnels ensure highly efficient temperature control, enabling a seamless transfer of product sheets from the forming machine to the scrap drum separator.
Most tunnel components are fully removable, making cleaning and inspection easy while maintaining the highest hygiene standards across the production line.
A dedicated discharge belt conveys the cooled product sheets to the scraps drum separator, which breaks them into individual pieces.
From there, the candies are ready to be sent either to a dedicated cooling room or directly to packaging, depending on the specific production flow.
